Being born and raised on the west coast in Izmir where people are easy going and friendly, I used to visit historic sites nearby like Ephesus, Pamukkale, Pergamon with my family. Meeting with people of all different cultures at an early age had an immense impact on my life overall. It gave me the will to discover which turned me into a passionate traveler. Having visited more than 22 countries (still counting), I remember myself in many awkward situations, so I believe I can qualify as a "tourist" myself.

I have been working in tourism since 2009 and my areas of expertise covers several locations like Istanbul, Gallipoli, Cappadoccia, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Latvia, Estonia, Finland..etc. After working in operations department in a travel agency for 3 years, I decided to become a tourist guide since it seemed much more appealing to me. I feel myself lucky for that decision, because it changed my life for the better. Being a tourist guide gives me the chance to meet with different and interesting people, and introduce them Turkish culture and history in a proper manner on a daily basis, plus I get more time to spend in the city.

I am a full time tour guide in English and Italian languages specialized in Istanbul. As being a resident of Istanbul for more than 11 years, I am a great admirer of the city myself not only because of the beatiful sights and rich history but also the daily life it offers full of energy and suprises. Like all local guides who are well versed in their areas of expertise, I crave new information and sights all the time in order to provide the best service. Because sky is the limit when it comes to experience Istanbul.
